2000 Great Songs #1381: Time Of Her Time

Our second pick off Ride's second LP, 1992's Going Blank Again, is a bit of a throwback for them--like the earlier "Taste," it's a jangly candy-coated pop song constructed from a tangle of trebly riffs and buried in shoegaze, a cacophony of distortion and hum, yet the catchiness of the underlying tune still shines through. Not much more to say--crank it up, shake the room, piss off your neighbors.
