2000 Great Songs #1319: Who'll Stop The Rain
As I've probably mentioned previously, Creedence Clearwater Revival are one of those acts where I'm perfectly happy to hear one of their songs on the radio, but just don't play them much by choice. The sort of band more than capably served by a greatest hits package.
But I do genuinely love their two great rain songs. We hit the other one already; now it's time to close the loop with "Who'll Stop The Rain," off 1970's Cosmo's Factory. Honestly, I'll often find myself singing one to the tune of the other, but I'm confident that they're in fact two wholly different songs, both worthy of inclusion.
