My Top 1000 Songs #643: I Know A Girl

School's out... non-stop sunshine... and with the arrival of summer, all I want to do is listen to the Undertones' 1979 debut album on auto-repeat. Pretty much every song on the record is the best summer song ever--ok, "Here Comes The Summer" is a ringer, but all of  'em, dammit!

But I'm going with "I Know A Girl." I love that guitar riff. Used to play it all the time. Made my college band cover the song. We were...not great. But I got to play the riff.

The current iteration of the band, a couple years back:
