Yeah, we've all been there.

Anyway, great Flaming Lips track, closing out 1995's Clouds Taste Metallic--and, in a sense, closing out the initial era of the band itself. After this LP, guitarist Ronald Jones left the band and they pivoted into a less guitar-oriented, more experimental phase, beginning with 1997's Zaireeka and 1999's The Soft Bulletin. The makes for a fun, well-placed transition point, much of the noisier aspects of the band's early days sanded off the edges, leaving a shimmering yet still sufficiently twisted pop song with a rousing, anthemic coda.
