Like most of Flavor Crystals' music, the title track from 2007's Ambergris is gentle, ambient space rock, a wispy psychedelic treat ideal for kicking back with some headphones and a gummy late at night. I probably have a million songs that sound just like this in my collection, and can't really account for why this one sticks with me more than most; probably some weird association lost to history. But for whatever reason, this one just makes my spine tingle.
