My Top 1000 Songs #831: Handle With Care

[I've been writing up my Top 1000 songs on a daily basis--you can see them all in descending order by hitting the All My Favorite Songs tag.]

I don't have any particularly strong associations with this one. The Traveling Wilburys LP came out in late 1988, just as I was starting law school, and it was... fine. And "Handle With Care"? By far the best thing George Harrison had done in years, and the Roy Orbison and Dylan/Petty bits make it far better than it ever would've been as a solo track. Not the sort of song that's gonna change your life, but it's one of those amiable mixtape songs you can't not like, and if it comes on the car radio, there's no way you're getting out of the car until it's over.
